As the body count rises, however, Edie knows that only she has the knowledge to put together the killer’s murderous puzzle.

It seems with many novels and tv shows it is important to be politically socially correct in writing about relationships. This does not take away from the mystery but does get tiresome. It is an ok puzzle.
