The City Witch is the first in a series of novellas that are companions to The Coven: Elemental Magic and The Coven: Academy Magic Series. This novella is intended to be listened to after The Fallen Witch.

When I told Tennessee we needed to have more schools than just Edenburg, I thought they’d assign appropriate people to the task. Ya know, like actual adults. Not a 16-year-old who still has to finish high school herself.

But then, Tennessee became Coven Leader, and my great idea came back to bite me in the ass. Sure, the Majors and Minors of Manhattan were technically in charge and they’d brought in fantastic witches to teach. However, our fearless, nonhuman Leader wanted Deacon and I to oversee everything.

I wanted to be honored that he trusted us that much, but I barely knew how to use my own magic. How was I supposed to run an entire magical academy without destroying the city or getting anyone killed?

I didn’t know, but I was about to find out.

Welcome to the world of the coven! The entire series is excellent- along with the novellas. I have been patiently waiting to listen to the series on audible, because i feel more connected to the characters if i am listening to the book being narrated. I finished every audio book and was delightfully surprised when i saw the two new novellas pop up on my audible recommendations. I seriously can not wait til the next books are on audible as well as the next novellas. I am completely hooked! Absolutely a must read! When i first started the series it took me about 2 books to get used to the narrators voice- but now i can’t imagine anyone else narrating. Great work from both the Author and the Actor. Both women are extremely talented!
