Darkfall: Shadows of the Deep - Something sinister is taking place in the coastal town of Whitby. Jack and the Shadowand Max White are dispatched to investigate. What they find is beyond anything they could have imagined.

It took some time getting used to the narrator's reading style, he sounds like he's gonna start reciting lines from the song "The Monster Mash". But I stuck with it because the story is great. I really recommend this if you like Lovecraftian monsters and very gory monster attacks.

Brutal Fun

I don’t think I have anything negative to say. The narration was amazing, the story was enthralling, and the characters (minus Edwin maybe) were interesting. I can’t wait for the next part!

Just great

This book is amazing. You feel bad when characters pass away you feel happy when they’re happy the author writes the books so well that you believe you’re part of it and imagining things because of the detail the story writing it’s a fantastic book series and I can’t wait for the more of them to come out.

It's the late 1800's and Britain is being overrun with monsters, witches and all other nasty specimens. Enter the Deathborn, a group of men sworn to fight the uglies and protect the innocent. The book centers around Jack Bennett's story as he joins the organization after the death of his young son by a monster. This dark, gory tale will surely please the most jaded horror fans. I actually shivered twice during this audio book and I don't shiver - ever. The narration is awesome but then again, it's Hannibal Hills. That man could read a CVS receipt and make it sound like the next bestseller.

Nothing But Praise For This Title
