The third in Seth Patrick's genre-bending audiobook trilogy, following Reviver and Lost Souls, delivers chilling twists as a forensic detective revives the dead to exhume a world-changing conspiracy.

Opening with The Reviver and continuing in Lost Souls, this genre-bending audiobook series has been described as CSI meets The Sixth Sense. The trilogy takes place in our world, but with a chilling twist: certain people have the ability to wake the recently dead for testimony that is accepted in courts worldwide. The use of these so-called Revivers has long been a routine part of police investigation. But things are changing...something vast and dangerous is hiding in the dark, just waiting to wreak havoc on our world.

The Dead Road is where it all comes to an end—maybe literally.

I was a little disappointed! This one didn't reel me in as much as the previous two.

pretty good

Entertaining action/supernatural series ends by flattening denouement and epilogue with negative philosophical slant on human-nature.

Spoiler alert writer slams door on this souffle

That could have been great had there been a resolution to the plot but the ending ruined the entire book for me.

Good book

...was the best. It was shorter and less complicated and much of what I thought of as "filler" or unnecessary detail in the first two were absent here. It's a rare case of an author actually getting better as the series progressed! I enjoyed this series, partially because it was an interesting mashup I have not encountered before!

The audio narrator also improved--I wonder how many people told him that his female voices were as annoying as hell because it dialed it way back in this book.

Surprisingly this 3rd book of the trilogy...
