From USA Today and #1 Amazon Bestselling Author Pippa Grant comes a witty road trip romcom performed in duet narration about a billionaire on the run and the last woman on earth he wants in his passenger seat…

That didn’t turn out the way I planned it.

All I wanted was five minutes with Oliver Cumberland to explain to him that proposing to my sister—again—is a bad idea.

Instead, I’m now trapped in his car, on a cross-country road trip I didn’t anticipate, attempting to talk the grumpy billionaire out of something much, much worse than an arranged marriage for business purposes.

I don’t care if Mr. Square Jaw McMoneyPants wants to give away his entire fortune and disappear to live out his life working the popcorn counter at a movie theater or whatever in Podunk, USA.

But I do care that dozens of non-profits will lose their funding without Oliver in charge of his family’s empire. After all, I work for one.

I have to convince him to go home.

But by the end of the first week of our (mis)adventure, one thing is becoming obvious:

Oliver refusing to return home is the least of my problems.

The fact that I’m starting to fall in love with my sister’s ex is the real issue.

The Grumpiest Billionaire is a runaway billionaire road trip romance featuring a man who’s tired of taking responsibility for everyone around him, a woman who’s made a lot of mistakes while on a lifelong mission to save the world, and a slew of unintended consequences that prove no good deed goes unpunished.

Tropes include: Enemies to lovers, road trip, small town, sibling's ex, and runaway billionaire

The writing is great, the narration was wonderful and the banter between the two main characters was cute. This story was very entertaining. The spice was super low, I would almost say that this was a “clean” story. The only issue I had was the repetitive dialogue (way too much). And that the characters all had trauma issues with their parents and being a parent/grandparent made it a little frustrating at times. Happy Listening❤️

With all of the sadness over the weekend I really needed a true rom-com as a mental health break. Who better to turn to that Pippa Grant. This was an absolute delight. Cute, funny and swoony. It was a pleasure to see Oliver find himself and watch them fall in love! Just what I needed. Hands down the best part were the epilogues! If you are long time Pippa Grant fan and have been waiting for more info about these characters then you will gasp like me!

The audio narration was fantastic. Jason Clarke and Mackenzie Cartwright are top tier narrators and this book was such a joy to listen to.

A fun book that I overall enjoyed. The author did a good job growing the romance and completing Oliver‘s character arc.
Interesting thoughts in that the protagonist don’t end up rich in the end by choice.
The ending could’ve been more satisfying, there was a lot of references to what were obviously other books in the series, and they left you with the impression that the antagonist would get what was coming to him without ever stating what that was or when it was.

Fun with spice

The duet narration of opposites attract love story was uniquely on its own merit! The story was great and the characters were very entertaining. Just enough swoon and steam too!

Enjoy a great story with duet narration

This is the 2nd book in the Smalltown Sisterhood series, and this time we get Daphne and Oliver. Oliver just happens to be Daph's sister's ex-fiancé. They meet while he's running away from being a billionaire with a horrible family. Her family is probably worse.

There's good banter, and it's definitely a slow burn, but it doesn't have the dreaded 3rd act breakup! Pippa never disappoints, and this is no different.

Jason Clarke & Mackenzie Cartwright did a great job in the duet narration, and they had great chemistry.

4.75 overall, low spice though.

Daphne gets her book!
