Captain Jason Burke is a man apart, and not just because he's the only of his kind for thousands of light-years in any direction. I really enjoyed the series and while the last book felt a little like the end of the story, but, there is also several other threads the story can use to be continued. I would love to learn more about the little surprise at the end and can see this series potentially carrying on for quite a while longer! Recommended If you like space and science fiction.

Except for Enders Game, I've never listened to more than 5 books in a series before getting bored of the characters and story line. I just bought book 9 and am anxious to start it!
