Paranormal romance and urban fantasy fans will become enchanted with this deliciously dark and scandalous series by international bestselling author Emily Bex. It's everything vampire romances should be made of!

There are new beginnings for the ancient Medici vampire coven.

The sexy, powerful King Shade Medici intends to increase his coven and territories to include the US. The new Medici Queen proves she can hold her own beside her king. She carries rare abilities believed extinct by the vampire community. She also possesses something never seen in the vampire world. What will it mean to their kind?

A male heir must be produced to carry on the Medici line. The royal couple has many new plans in business to advance their hold in the States. Not everyone is happy about it. The sprawling Medici estate is a threat to its neighboring coven, controlled by Max. Their lifestyle is Rissa's greatest envy.

Secrets will be revealed, old scores will be settled, and many will fall.

Contains mature themes.

This is the most frustrating series I have come across. I am not an author and while I hate to trash someone's work, I think I can say something after three books and over 300 chapters. There were too many povs in these books and some of the story just kept repeating, both of which were distracting. Alec and Rissa had as many chapters as Shade and Kate. This is fine, but don't advertise the book about one and not warn about the other. The side povs like Raven, Marco, Luca, etc. were unnecessary and could be told through their interactions with Shade and Kate or give them their own books. The author also seems to forget some of the cliffhangers. Book 3 had the content I expected to find in Book 2, instead Book 2 was primarily about Rissa and Alec, then what felt like the last few chapters covered the turning. What Rissa and Alec did is still not known to Shade and Kate after three books. What Rissa and Max did is still not know to Alec. What Shade did is still not known to Kate. What Max did is still not known to anyone. Kate still doesn't know Rissa and don't get me started on Kate's jealousy! Even after learning all those skills she's still a mess which made it hard to believe she would be ok with Cory. I am still waiting to find out more about the Medici curse and the cliffhangers just go on and on and it makes me question if I want to continue with the series. There is a lot of good material here, but it needs some work.

Frustrating
