This was a great story, I was hooked from the first chapter! Both MCs were so lovable, and I loved their story! Narration was great!

This book had so much impact; Troy was really something, and Jackson—Jesus! I was growing in anticipation to hear what was next in their lives, especially Jackson, who got the picture with Troy finally manning up to express himself in the end made my mouth drop. Loving the book got me to get the whole series. I bet I won't regret it. 👌🏽

I never know about college stories. Sometimes it feels like I’m too old. Their struggles and angst bore me. Been there, done that, I’m ready for more mature characters. But this book is so well crafted, it kept my attention from start to finish. Both main characters were cute. I wanted things to work out for them. I enjoyed watching their naive fumbling, enthusiasm, and optimism for each other.
Cooper North was a pretty good fit, though character voices were sometimes a bit ambiguous.
I think this was my first by Hayden Hall, but it won’t be my last.

Low angst, self-discovery, coming out

I’m glad I gambled on this one, because it really was a sweet listen. I like when a romance portrays characters that are flawed but figure out how to grow together.

I also like when the narrator’s voice is age appropriate, and the voices of different characters were distinct and well fitting. I especially liked that this story stayed away from certain MM tropes (I won’t spoil too much) since that made it refreshing and new from the norm. The steamy scenes were also really well portrayed, and again well done in my opinion.

I will be getting Hayden Hall’s next addition about Quinn and other characters introduced in this story! I’m excited!

This story was wonderful. I highly recommend it. Getting to see nerdy Troy get together with Jackson the jock was amazing. And how they changed each other for the better. I especially liked the sex scenes. But it wasn't just sex it showed how much they truly loved each other. I could see them eventually getting married and even having kids of their own. And of course growing old together. I wish I had what they have.
