Now i have only an hour left of the book, none of the characters were shouting or whispering, so it was nice to the ears like AI narration even with earbuds; there are some weird poses in the sentence, which made me question, is it AI with 2 voice usage, but if Joshua Kachnycz as a person was reading it out loud, big thanks for him. Also a few words are spoken too fast, which isn't the style of AI, so i needed to rewind sometimes, but compared to a narrator, who sometimes uses whisper and shout to differentiate the characters, and by some emotions can speak too fast for a short period, i almost didn't need to rewind and only had some AI related issue, like who is speaking or how should i rethink the sentence in my head to be coherent.
The story is awesome, as a child i liked reading, but after beginning to work, the time i read got shorter and now is almost none exitent; so i was considering buying these books, i was really upset not even the manga is finished, and the anime got me hooked on. I hoped in this the magic sickness and some other stuff will be explained more in details, and they were. In the anime i was shocked, that i don't want this series be a yaoi and because i listen to audiobooks at my work hours, i was happy the life saving scenes are not that detailed. In the anime i prefer the shonenai like Sasaki to Miyano. Because Seiichirou is in life or death situation, i was thinking of yaoi, where the straight character is bullied so long, that he gives up his sexuality and i hate those anime, i was suggested almost 20 years ago to watch some of them and i always skipped after 1-2 episodes to the last episode or some kind of written summary like Wikipedia; i am really glad this series is not about that. The age gap is kind of... if it were the other way around, Aresh being 29-30 and Seiichirou 18 or 22... Yua is way too young, i am happy Aresh doesn't care much about her and rather annoyed, but in real life i remember some of my friends being used by 20 years old boys, stating, you should really lose your virginity at 16 years old, so her crush on Aresh is a bit triggering for me.
Seiichiro being the uke i guess and being older than Aresh, in the book more emphatized, he had real hetero relationships, where his workacholic lifestyle turned out to be a problem, and i would say, he is having the same problem with Aresh, just doesn't want to admit it is more than weird magical healing treatment XD i like it, but if the ages were mixed i would really hate that a more experienced man is using a young innocent boy's allergy to do stuff... i mean spoiler, but Seiichiro also suggest oral medication, and would it be impossible like to come into a glass or bottle and drink that, while holding hands or hugging... I don't really understand the fluid exchange, but according to my way of thinking, they could just let Seiichiro drink saliva and sperm; maybe without even telling him, because asking for consent wasn't that clearly explaint, rather than shown after Seiichiro didn't want to die... For me the most difficult part to swallow, if he is such a workacholic, life and Seiichiro doesn't have meaning withouth working, burn out is there for those people, too, or am i too depressed to see this clearly? I have a hint of workaholism, but i suffer from burn out time to time, and yeah, my hobbies are addiction related, like binge watching anime series. Seiichiro doesn't even spend a day off, before asking for a job... it seems for me a bit of, not wanting to die, while so addicted to job. I have clinical depression and burn out is just like a side effect, so idk... for me well the first year is a happy addiction, because there are many things to learn, and Seiichiro is not there yet, but we can see he pushes the thought of parents away, because of guilt... doesn't he ever thought of suicide? You know, just the japanese way karoshi 過労死; because if my depression is not that severe, i still think of having a lethal accident... and the first time, he was going to have karoshi death... i mean, it is part of the humor i guess...
For now i love the story both in anime (episode 7) and the book (only this volume, but looking forward to the next volumes, hoping i begin to read again with the 3rd volume and not just listening to.)
