It was a rollercoaster. Some parts just dragged... But then it weren't so fast and the clear plot twist were good. It wasn't as great as book one. It felt dragged still a good story. Narrators great💚

Cassian and Allegra are the best couple I’ve encountered in a while! Cassian realizes how wrong he was to dismiss Allegra and becomes her enforcer. It is one heck of a ride! Full of twists and turns. You won’t see everything coming. I am happy about how this turned out! I hope Jet gets a book/series. I’m so hoping for it! Glad I stumbled upon this series!

Overall the book was ok. There wasn't much romance development. She hated him in one chapter and the next they were in love. Even then there wasn't much relationship. S*x yes, but no actual relationship. Also, how many times can one woman be the damsel in distress? This story could have been told in half the time. However, the narration was spot on.
