You had me at women's football! Then I stayed for the storytelling, narrator's voice (swoon!) and probably every queer women's fantasy of Cinderella's coming out.

This was a great story. I love how likeable both the Mc's were. The chemistry was there, the drama was lightweight/ believable, and the supporting characters fit perfectly. More, the narrator was phenomenal!

I would have enjoyed more guessing/longing before they got together. As their relationship progressed slightly too quickly, in my opinion. Though if you chalk it up to them being mature and sure of what they want, it was perfect timing. Depends on the listener.

All in all, this is definitely one of my favorite WLW romances. It made me want to look into young LGBTQ+ youth struggles, shelters, and the like as well. So thank you for that call to action. You are a blessing. I appreciate you and your work!

An engaging book with sweet likeable characters. The plot was predictable, but still interesting and with the right amount of drama and spice. Katy Sobey's narration was very good, too.

I’d love a sequel! I couldn’t stop listening to it was was great but sad because it ended.

I have read this book 3 times since it was published in April 2025. It is phenomenal! Ash and Victoria are an incredible couple. I hope we get a second book. It would be nice to see how they handle the challenges that are sure to come up
