The final reckoning has arrived.

When the owner of a Scarborough cocktail bar is gunned down during a winter light show, DCI Tom Raven is drawn into a web of intimidation, vengeance, and a chilling connection to his own past.

As a vicious crime family infiltrates Scarborough’s businesses, evidence begins to mount, pointing at Raven himself. Suspended from duty and hunted by his own colleagues, he is forced underground to uncover the truth.

When his daughter Hannah is dragged into danger, the emotionally charged conclusion brings Raven full circle, forcing him to face the consequences of past choices. For Raven, this final case will cost everything – his reputation, his freedom, and possibly his life.

Set on the North Yorkshire coast, the Tom Raven series is perfect for fans of David J Gatward, J M Dalgliesh, Simon McCleave, and British crime fiction.

The story was pretty good - until the ending. I feel so let down by the authors. After investing in 10 books I never expected this. It will take a while to forget this.

I cannot express how much I disliked the narrator. His voice was grating. As for the book, I won't miss Raven.
