Loving this series. Zin and Reed are such a fun couple and the love they have for each other. The co star and his father are making things hard for Reed. But Reed is determined to make Zin his. Read or listen to the book to find out what all happens. If is a fun and a laugh out loud little short read or listen to. Wish there were more in this series.

The book is excellent! Hearing it read is another experience. The narrator is very good. There were only a couple of parts near the end of the book where the ew factor came up. The narrator was bland for that point in the story. Otherwise the reading was very good.

Just as fun to listen to as it was to read! The narrator, Traci Odom, did a wonderful narration of the story and characters.

My review:
Deanna Chase never lets me down! Just when I needed a pick me up, she comes out with another fun and entertaining story in the Witch Island Brides series. All of the books so far have grabbed me from the beginning and didn’t release me from their spell until the end. The Shifter’s First Bite is no exception. The characters are well written and fun to get to know. It was nice learning how Zinnia and Reed reconnected after being apart for many years. Adding Krissy to the mix who is Reed’s co-star in a series and the fun times begins. I love to relax and lose myself in these stories along with many others by this amazing author who just captures the right amount of magic in her writing that keeps me entertained and wanting more. If you are looking for a great, entertaining paranormal story that isn’t on the more serious side then this is what you need in your library!

The Witch Island Brides is a great series to listen to while driving home from work. It is fun, witty and light hearted! The Shifter's First Bite brings a bit of drama to the set of Engaged to the Werewolf. Zinnia finds herself confronted with her past love, Reed. Reed storms the small town with his reality TV show, bringing along his fiancé. Reed is hoping that Zinnia is willing to give him the chance that they never had...fifteen years is along time to be away from the one you love.
