This cat lady / assassin is quite amusing and it is fun how she presents herself to the world. Just swallowing a tuff of cat fur (ick) and she appears as the cat she got the fur from. This adventure does get her mixed up with the wearwolf even more than before, have to see where that leads. Narrator accent is so lovely and I can listen to it consistently. She does one gell of a great job with the various characters and the entire storyline.

Of course we are left with a large cliffhanger… I’d like the next in the series now please? lol
And as always I enjoy listening to the voice actress, her accents and voices are mesmerizing to me. Scottish accents can be difficult for Americans to decipher but Ruth finds the way to keep the accents strong and also I am able to follow along easily.
I find that non-american authors write the best supernatural fiction; the stories are almost always creative and filled with compelling new supernatural beings and cultural lore for me to learn about.

I really enjoyed that the author had a Banshee in this book. It added a different element, and showed us even more the type of person Kit is. There is a little romance in this book, which wasn't in the last, and it was a great addition. Highly recommend
