Found this book very useful in mastering the concepts of strategy implementation. It clearly distinguishes between what works and what doesn’t with real live examples. The concepts in this book are something we can take and apply the very next day. Best part, it does not try to be politically correct and puts things as they are.

With myriad options, styles and theories out there on Strategic Planning, this book was recommended to me by a valued and respected colleague as I was leaning toward completing a SWOT analysis at the 20 year mark of my company. I was loathing it. Honestly. How refreshing to read that Chuck Bamford teaches what I’ve believed for many years: SWOT is NOT an analysis tool nor is it a strategy! YES! I could get into this guy. This is a short read with golden nuggets you can immediately put into practice.
Highly, highly recommended! PS the ‘performer’ is the perfect voice for the subject matter.
