Up-and-coming LA screenwriter Ivy Green is about to have her life turned upside down. Her movie, based on her high-school romance with Nick Shepherd, is being filmed in her hometown.

In the middle of summer, during the month of July, the production crew creates a winter-wonderland Christmas. Nick is less than thrilled to see Ivy after all this time—especially because her movie script kills off his character. To complicate matters, Ivy isn't sure of her relationship with the producer, the town is overflowing with movie stars and adoring fans, and, worst of all, the actress playing Ivy develops a crush on the real Nick!

Now with renewed and confusing feelings about Nick, Ivy is determined to see if there is anything left between them. But in the end, she may have to re-write her life's script to finally get everything she's ever wanted.

My wife loved the book and has been trying to get me to read/listen to it for months. We had the pleasure of meeting the lovely authors and they were two of the nicest people you will ever meet! After speaking with them I could not wait to dive into this story. I loved every part of it. From the characters to the insider knowledge the authors bring to the story. From start to finish I had a smile on my face. Can’t wait to see what’s next!

Loved it!

I hate finished so that could complete a prompt for a reading challenge that don’t a had more interesting options.

I almost DNFd multiple times. The authors are clearly script writers that were trying their hand at novels. But as a writer you have to believe that your audience has some comprehension skills. Never in my life have I had authors explain the most basic concepts in an adult novel. Explaining what it means when 2 people say jinx shouldn’t be included in a book over a 3rd grade reading level.

This whole thing was disjointed from the timeline, adult characters with too much teen angst and no clear narrator. I got this for free and still feel like I paid too much for it.

It just doesn’t work
