Could you ask your daughter's murderer for help to stop a new serial killer?

"Criminal Minds meets The Silence of the Lambs—you won't put it down." - ★★★★★

A family of four is found murdered in their Georgia home. Then another in South Carolina. Then another. Each killing follows the same disturbing pattern—a pattern that only one man recognises. And he prays that he's wrong.

Former FBI profiler Augustine Carver leads a team of failed agents nobody else wanted, handling cases nobody else will touch. But this case is different. Because the only person who can decode these killings is the same man who destroyed Carver's life.

Father Hermann Zimmer sits in a psychiatric ward, blinded and waiting. His congregation is still out there. Still killing. Still following the dark gospel he preached across the American South.

To stop the killer, Carver must do the one thing he swore he'd never do—go back to the monster whose eyes he took and ask for his help.

"Father Zimmer is my new favourite Dr Lecter—except he doesn't take livers, he takes souls." - ★★★★★

For fans of James Patterson's Alex Cross, Patricia Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta, Tess Gerritsen's Rizzoli & Isles, and anyone who thought The Silence of the Lambs needed more religion and less redemption.

I didnt like the deadpan virtual voice. It had no inflection and some words were not correctly pronounced

AI reading is terrible! It was read so poorly. The inflection was so off; it made some of it nonsense! I’m pissed that I paid to listen to that 🤬 The story was good but fake reader screwed it up!

AI sucks!

The story itself seemed interesting. However, the virtual voice reading was terrible. it made the story seem bland and uninteresting. I would prefer to read a print copy of this book unless they have an actual person read for the performance.

Book seems good, but Virtual voice reading is terrible.

Haven’t finished the book yet. I like the story but I just don’t like the virtual voice narration. I will pay attention next time I purchase an audio book and skip it if it’s virtual voice. I prefer a real person. There’s just no heart in the story.

Don’t like virtual voice

DNF - the narration is terrible. Free or not there should be some pride in the presentation. I love the concept of the story but I can’t listen another second to the terrible narration.

TERRIBLE AI Narration
