Narrated by the talented Hannah Curtis, this audiobook is a classic in suspense with twists and turns that kept me up into the early-morning hours. Verity's widowed mother has found love again, but Verity's not convinced her new beau is as perfect as he seems. The complex relationship between the two women is expertly woven. Her determination to uncover the truth about her mother's boyfriend leads to shocking revelations and a jaw-dropping shocker of a finale. The tension builds slowly, culminating in a chilling climax. Highly recommended and worth my cherished credit. Epic, indeed!
