A crime drama date with a stunning elf, or a dystopian survival race with two hot halflings? Why not both?

Tyler thinks he’s finally getting the hang of the Elf Date app. After a horrendous start, Tyler managed to string together a few successful dates while earning 5-stars in the process. His ranking in the Elf Date system, along with his rating, opened a new tier of gorgeous women who couldn’t wait to go out on a fantasy date with him. There’s just one thing standing in the way of a great time…himself.

It sounded fun (and crazy) at first, but Tyler gained a class scroll called Mana Cloning. The class allowed him to clone objects, such as a second machine gun that would hover over his shoulder and fire whenever he fired the weapon in his hand. Like most fantasy classes, the system grew with his effort and offered a new ability that allowed Tyler to make clones of himself. It sounded like a wild time, but the clones were based on parts of his real personality. His first clone was a womanizing jerk who considered himself the real deal over the original, and his presence threatened to ruin his dates on more than a few occasions.

Tyler hated the clone, but the lessons he learned through observation were worth their weight in gold. Not only did he gain a date with a gorgeous elf woman (who looks so familiar that he can’t stop thinking about it), but a date with three women at the same time; an old friend he wanted to catch up with, a redhead halfling with a gigantic rack, and a Hobb so interesting that his eyes tended to gravitate away from the redhead’s chest long enough to take notes. His old friend wasn’t looking to catch up though. She had a far darker reason for asking him out, and Tyler’s about to learn that he can’t continue to ignore his past.

Tyler’s Elf Date 2 is a wild ride of fantasy dating at its finest. Some dates are crime dramas, some are high fantasy, and some dip their toes into genres that can’t be defined. If you’re a fan of the original Elf Date series featuring Rhett, then you’ll love Tyler’s Elf Date.

virtual voice did not surprise. I just can't understand how a computer generated voice can mispronounce so many simple words. especially not constantly pronouncing words (right or wrong) the same way throughout the story.

the ending was probably the main problem with this story. I don't know if a deadline was looming or if Warden was sucked into the game and his apprentice finished the story. this just didn't seem to fit with the others.

if you have to miss one, this story is the one to skip.

his other books are better
