Uncle Robert died, and that sucks, but it’s just the beginning of Channing’s strange, unbelievable tale. After figuring out the password to the odd gaming console his uncle willed him, Channing finds himself in a hub containing thousands of knock-off games filled with action, loot, variety, and some extremely hot women at every turn. It’s a gamer’s wet dream, right until Channing discovers the dark secret hidden within the console. Uncle Robert didn’t die of a stroke. He was killed in the game by another player, one whose guild is now targeting Channing.
This book contains the first five episodes of Ando/Channing’s story, filled with a variety of games, amazing women, mystery, loot, money, some stats, and a guild filled with jerks who want to kill Channing. The premise is huge, so stretch your jaw before consuming.
Uncle Robert Left Me His Fantasy World is a series of isekai-like games in one package. One minute, Channing is playing the last two minutes of his favorite team’s scoring drive, the next, he’s fighting through the streets of a cyberpunk world to save a stripper. It’s sheer madness, and who knows what other game genres Channing will dive into. Warning: this book contains adult material that isn’t intended for a young audience.

some interesting concepts to the the story. the smut is kinda lame. the AI is horrendous. hp for hit points gets read as horsepower, literally. asshole is ash hole, inconsistencies with word pronunciation. so it's somewhat distracting at times. but a mediocre story with enough interest to get me to finish it. very good if this author is an absolute beginner.

interesting world, horny teens would love this story

Love the author love the story. Small complaints though. First, the Virtual Voice has annoyed me again. In other titles it says “bow” the verb to describe “bow” the noun / arrow launching weapon. Here, it has turned “he lost 10 hp” into “he lost 10 horsepower”. Really?

Second, in chapter 17, they are naming the cyborg and decide upon “Nine”. One justification for that name is that 9 is a prime number. Please. 3x3 anyone? Small detail but any good editor would have quashed that quickly. That said and if any author wants me to to a proofread/edit I’d do it for free just for fun.

Anyway, good story so far and loving the development of the characters and game world.

Great story but two small complaints

This was a solid story. Such a great plot! I found it fun interesting and highly enjoyable. If you’re a fan of He Who Fights With Monsters, you will love this. The fan service isn’t over powering just enough to make it work. Well done!

What gamers dream of!!

The story was pretty good, up until it ended on a cliffhanger. The idea of a game console where some things earned in game affected the real world was kind of fun.

The Virtual Voice was mostly understandable, but had some major issues. Why was a story based in Cincinnati using a virtual voice with an Australian accent?? "HP" meaning "hit points" was often told as "horse power" which made no sense in context.

I haven't found a sequel, but I'd likely listen to it if I can find it. Overall, the story was entertaining.

Good story as the beginning.
