Great story. Six and Louisa are an unlikely match but just seem to work in this thrilling, action packed story. Alexandre Steele and Amelie Griffin give good performances.

The voices for the characters that each narrator did were so distracting that I couldn’t get past the first hour of the book, despite being very intrigued by the actual story.

Dr. Louisa North is certain that her research has been stolen but the owner of the lab doesn’t appear to be concerned. She meets ex-SEAL, Sixton , now security specialist, at a banquet, then again when he was running and he had a flashback. They form a friendship, even though they’re a most unlikely pair. When Lou is attacked at home, she accepts that she needs Six’s help. Can Six and his team figure out who’s after Lou before it’s too late? Great romantic suspense with just the right balance of suspense and steam.

But the characters never came to life; Flat one dimensional throughout.
And the narration wasn’t good. If someone of the caliber of Andi Arndt and Teddy Hamilton narrated it would have elevated this listen substantially. These narrators brought it down a full star, maybe two.
