Loved the tension between Noah and McKenzie but very sad that Noah is about to find out some very dark secrets

So many characters I had trouble keeping them straight. I had to work at listening as the narration was rather bland. I like the main characters but this wasn’t a read/listen that I could just relax and enjoy. My mind kept wandering.

I am new to this author J Hunt. I like the way he writes and his stories. Still not crazy about the narrator and would probably like the audible story more if this narrator did not sound so monotone. He puts me to sleep.

You will be drawn in and captivated by his witty, humorous writing and spot on narration, of Miles Meili. Together these books rock!
Jack Hunt creates excellent storylines with characters that you can easily envision in your mind. His stories are sooo enjoyable and as I said before I cringe when I'm down the last 45 minutes of my audio book...it's bittersweet...
Jack Hunt, in my opinion, is one of the best writers out there. His choice in Miles Meili narrating the High Peaks series, was an excellent move, Miles is sooo wonderful. His voice and personality bring each of Jacks characters to life, especially Mckenzie, whom I love. I only do audio books and alot of Jack Hunts stories have been listened to more than once.
He's THAT good!
