Why at 9 hours 55 does he not have mana he literally just got so much he almost died earlier and now he has barely enough to do anything. This really pissed me off here ngl.

Really enjoyed the story. The story, world building, and narration were all excellent. I liked the main character. I thought it was a good mix of danger and coming into his power without having a character who instantly masters everything. Definitely worth it and I can’t wait for the next audio book.

slow burn but worth it

The first few chapters of book 1 were kind of slow, but for a purpose. Since then, the 3 books produced so far have delved into a magical world with complex characters and fantastic beings. The thing I love THE MOST is the complex INTERRELATIONAL dynamics of love, family, and friendship. This author is exceptional at describing a good man's inner dilemmas, and how he can grow into a healthy strong leader. The SPICY scenes are also TOP TIER, and more nuanced than you imagine (since magic is involved). And this author is smart.... so far only 3 witches have been bound in 3 books. Since a coven is 13 witches.... this series has lots of room to grow!!!
