Life is the teacher. Death is the lesson. An undying cultivator is the result.

Su Fang’s path of cultivation is a journey of countless deaths. As each new life pulls back the veil that covers the Nine Rivers Continent, he discovers both hidden truths and the chains that bind him.

The Nine Rivers Continent is under the thumb of a godlike entity willing to do whatever it takes to push society forward, and nothing fuels progress like conflict. To get his first true competitive advantage, Su Fang begins his hunt for a spatial fire seed, a treasure that will grant him the power to create a world of his own—a sanctuary beyond the reach of the Heavenly Dao. Fortunately—or perhaps unfortunately—he has as many attempts as he needs to succeed.

A cultivator who defies death has only one option: seek out a life worth living.

I tried, I’m just to put off by the narration. It’s so overly dramatic, it’s like I’m listening to an 8th grader. It’s soooo cringey. I’m just gonna read it on kindle.

I can’t do it…

Dont have much to say... it was good? A bit short with really only one looooong life and a few shorts. Dont feel like much got done but really it did.

I hope for a huge spending spree next book and not to put it off. Also really hope he puts more focus into beast alchemy. Be it needing special herbs that they eat raw to use, to coat the beast stuff in a layer of pill energy then condense, or just make elixirs. What ever it is , really want him to uncover that branch in the next book.

Good?

He could do so much more with his blessing to further smaller things that could impact his overall competence.

Pretty good

I never thought I would like an LitRPG / Game Lit with no fighting. But here we are. The theme of this book is not like other LitRPG, and it's surprisingly heavy. But it's kind of refreshing to have a LitRPG / Game Lit book that explores more adult aspects of life. Usually other "Adult-Oriented" LitRPG / Game Lit is "Adult-Oriented" only because of profanity and violence.

Surprisingly Heavy

This one's a lot slower than the first book. I was hoping for some more personal growth as well as progression, but the guy spends most of the book locked in a room doing alchemy. I desperately need the mc to break out of his shell in the future.

I wish he just talked to people more often.
