His words are piercing — like a sharp, two-edged sword — and he still speaks powerfully even now. Jesus has never changed, and his heart is ever committed to his people. Jesus speaks to us today with praise, warnings, instruction, affirmation, correction, and promises, and it is imperative that we heed his words.
