I love this book, fun characters you love, a strong, smart but fallible FMC. She has one big blind spot that we share with her for most of the journey. Cannot wait for book 2.

I purchased this after reading the book. The audiobook is also great! This is a great series if you like great character building, slow burn, creatures (Dragons), and a fun and interesting plot. I can't wait to get the full series!

This series is so amazing and this kicks it off with a bang! I love Zaydah and the journey she goes on. We see her grow and get hurt and learn. This book feels like a mix of Hunger Games and Fourth Wing with no spicy scenes. The narrator does a great job as well. Overall the story and the narration make it a great listen.
