I will say this is definitely the weakest entry in the series so far. We don't really get any good progression in Shane's powers just some stuff about how he can stretch his abilities further. this book mostly felt dedicated towards Shane's love life than even the scavenger hunt.

Usually series get to volume 6 or 7 before they hit "filler" entries. This one already feels there at book 3, unfortunately. I really liked the first two books, that's why it hitting something like this at book 3 is pretty disappointing. On top of that, the heavy handed romance story here was annoying, instead of the intended endearing. The two love birds in question seemed to act like 30-somethings, not teenagers. It just felt weird.

I had already purchased the next couple in the series, so hopefully the story and arcs pick back up. I want something more substantial than a book about their high school scavenger hunt for flowers...

Meh... This one already feels like a filler book.
