Generally, I’m not the zombie/apocalypse type, but the author nailed the storyline! The character descriptions and the interplay between them made the story come to life. I loved how the interpersonal dynamics played out when establishing the new Lake City, and the leadership characteristics needed to build a cohesive town. Also, the tactical maneuvering and planning was on point and you can tell the author clearly has extensive experience in this aspect. The readers performing the story read had some minor mispronunciations, but easy to overlook. Can’t wait until the next book!

I liked the “science” behind virus. The firearms and tactics was accurate for the most part and there was some helpful nuggets for a SHTF scenario.
We enjoyed it.

I love how this book is almost 2 stories in one! each chapter left you wanting more! I highly recommend this book.

great story line

The story is excellent along with the narrator, my only problem is the screaming. I wasn't expecting that and ended up with a phone call to my boss and trying to explain why the semi is in the ditch and that I need a tow truck to pull me out.

The only negative. The male reader is a little Melodramatic, not natural enough. He did a good job, but the story deserved a better effort.
The story itself was very good! If you are a military person, police of any kind, first responder of any kind you will love the details and humor! If you’re a zombie apocalypse story enthusiast, you should also enjoy the details (I’m not, so I can’t speak definitively about that). If you’re a woke politician or just woke in general, it will give you a glimpse into your future if our society ever falls below a manageable Martial Law scenario.
To the writer, thank you your attention to detail in the area of shooting and survival skills!!! Great work!!!
