His non-profit work comes after a football career that saw him star at Simon Gratz High School and Division II West Chester University. Upon graduation from West Chester, Rouse, a defensive back, went on to spent time with the Green Bay Packers, the BC Lions of the CFL and the DC Defenders of the UFL. He reached these football heights after overcoming getting shot in the head in a random shooting in North Philadelphia back in 2016.
