With their powers renewed in the underworld, the Bone Mages are returning to T'iru Midiri to free their people from the invaders. As they undertake their journey, Zhe's powers grow towards becoming a mighty Threefold Bone Mage. But to achieve this great power, he must fulfil a set of mysterious tasks including liberating at least one key city and defeating Queen Diarmuid.

Now that Alec and Eleira have learned how to use the Greater Elements, they must take the Royal Academy's entrance examination. What awaits them there is something neither could have anticipated: more magic, more friends, and more danger.

Jaden and the Free Seekers won the battle in God’s Bowl and destroyed Devourer’s infernal machine to manipulate the worlds. Now Devourer has destroyed the ancient city of Marleborn, a center of resistance to the Empire, by spreading the plague of Noon Wraiths. Headmaster has also gone missing while on his own mission to destroy another of Devourer’s machines. If he has been captured or killed, it could lead to the Hidden City’s location being revealed to Devourer, putting the rebellion in danger.

Maximo Strident, war veteran and member of local law enforcement, never wanted to enter the dungeon. With promises of wealth beyond his imagination, his squad mates managed to convince him.
