Emily Cherry, the elderly blog star and happenchance sleuth is inspired by an animal rescue story that leads to a new mystery for her to uncover! When Emily’s fans go nuts for a few cute pictures of Rosemary the cat, Emily decides to focus her attention on furry friends as a great subject for her writing and enlists herself as a volunteer at the Best Friends Furever pet shelter.

Sammy Baker’s confectionaries are a big hit in Sunny Cove, but when a fundraising drive turns into a hair-raising crime, it’s time for Sam to don her sleuthing cap again. Aided by a posse of do-gooders who call themselves the Radical Grandmas, Sammy needs to sniff out the cold-bloodied killer before Christmas day.

Paired with local lawyer Rob Hewitt, Sammy Baker is excited to start up Sunny Cove Services, a special place where disabled adults can find meaningful employment. There’s a lot of work to do to get it up and running, including hiring a contractor to remodel their workspace. When Sammy hires Harold Woodland, she doesn’t understand why some people are warning her against him. He seems like a pretty nice guy to her. But Harold slowly starts to show his true colors, and it turns out someone dislikes him enough to finish him off for good.

Courtney Cain’s life is turned upside down when she loses her job at a prestigious ad agency and finds out her own fiancé was the one who let her go. She’s ready for a change, and when she finds an opening at the Curly Bay Pet Hotel and Rescue, it seems like the perfect fit. Until a prize winning Pom disappears on the very first day and Courtney is in the firing line! The finger is pointed at her, and she has to get to the bottom of the case before her life is turned upside down once again.

Sammy has truly enjoyed her time at Just Like Grandma’s. The wonderful café and its sweet owner have given her a chance to start her life over, and the community of Sunny Cove truly enjoys all her baked goods. Now, Sammy is considering starting up her own bakery. This comes with plenty of challenges, including finding a building in which to have her business. Sammy thinks she’s found the perfect place, but when the landlord turns up dead, she has second thoughts and a list of suspects. Starting a new business is enough work without having to solve a murder case!

Courtney Cain is thrilled when interim mayor Bridget Powers asks for help with her campaign. Bridget wants to really make a difference for the people of Curly Bay, and Courtney is completely behind her. Delighted to take on another exciting challenge, alongside the ones she has at work, she jumps in with both boots. When Bridget’s campaign is tainted by her mayoral opponent's murder, however, Courtney knows she has to help find the real killer!

Finding a body in an alleyway when you are grounded is not a good idea. Especially if you are the town’s usual suspect for any mischief or mayhem. Teen rebel Lucas Krymanski is in trouble again, and this time, it’s big time! Only the town’s amateur sleuth librarian Kelly Armello believes Lucas is innocent. She even fears there’s darker schemes afoot - hidden and horrible conspiracies seething below the surface.

A severe thunderstorm has hit Curly Bay, causing major damage to the Curly Bay Pet Hotel and Rescue. Fortunately, a wealthy patron is interested in hosting a fundraiser to help offset the costs. As Courtney and Mrs. Throgmorton organize the event, Courtney starts to feel she’s being sabotaged at every turn.

It’s been a while since Miss Molly Gertrude Grey and Dora Brightside had a mystery to solve, and it is beginning to eat at Molly Gertrude. The answer to Molly's prayers come sailing in when they are asked to plan the wedding of the son of wealthy scientist Mace Brick on a paradise island in the Indian ocean.

It attracts people from all the surrounding counties and even further, so the quiet streets are about to be full of tourists. Helen is convinced that Sammy will win, but when she finds out the famous Chef Collin Casey will be in the running as well, she isn’t so sure.

It’s almost Thanksgiving in Sunny Cove, and Sammy Baker has much to be thankful for, including a new raisin pie recipe that the customers at Just Like Grandma’s love. But after talking with her friend Rob, who’s interested in helping the homeless, Sammy realizes there are people out there who need her help. She teams together with other residents to find a solution.

Sammy believes in God, not ghosts, but she has to admit that activity at the house just keeps getting weirder and weirder. Sammy’s got to get to the bottom of this if she’s ever going to make this shelter a reality.

Little Oakley Art Gallery teams up with the local animal rescue center, Best Friends Furever, for a fundraiser. Emily is delighted to help in any way she can. Planning out the event gives her an entirely new focus for her blog, one that could be a real winner this time. But when a robbery sends the whole affair into panic, our amateur sleuth finds that there’s more than just art theft at play!
