Now, the press is swarming his house in Bayport to get the scoop on the novel he completed just before his untimely death. When Joe hears that Nathan’s wife is having a giant estate sale, he drags Frank with him. Who could pass up the opportunity to see inside their favorite author’s home? Nathan’s wife says she wants to get away as quickly as possible; strange things have been happening since their first night there, and now her husband is gone, and she’s sure the house is haunted.

Car thieves are busy in Bayport, the home of Frank and Joe Hardy. After cars and trucks are stolen, they seem to simply disappear somewhere along the Shore Road. Then their chum, Jack Dodd, and his father are arrested even though they claim innocence. Are they guilty or is their prior farm hand, Gus Montrose, involved in the thefts? Frank and Joe make a plan to lure the thieves. Do they have enough nerve to go through with it? Their encounter with the desperate criminals leads to grave danger. They are kidnapped!

The Hardy brothers and Frank’s new girlfriend, Jones, are attending a local comic book convention on the shore. They meet up with Jones’ friend Harper, a fellow comics super fan, outside the convention. The four of them spend hours running from booth to booth and end the perfect day with pizza at Harper’s short-term rental apartment. Things don’t stay so perfect, though. On the way home, Jones realizes she switched phones with Harper by accident and she's getting some really scary texts. They show up at the apartment the next day to find it totally destroyed and Harper missing.

Rich girl Lindsay Peyton is throwing the biggest and best Sweet Sixteen bash that Bayport has ever seen. But when Frank and Joe discover that her car has been keyed, it looks like someone isn't so happy that Bayport's princess is showing off. Meanwhile, a group calling themselves the Scaredevils is filming themselves committing random mischief around town - including keying Lindsay's car - which threatens the security of Lindsay's big day.

Frank and Joe Hardy, erstwhile teenage detectives, feel somewhat foolish after accepting a counterfeit bill while helping a stranger at the Bayport train station. Over a period of weeks, friends and family members fall prey to exchanges with counterfeiters, sometimes in transactions amounting to hundreds of dollars. Frank and Joe's father, the highly esteemed private detective Fenton Hardy, is working with the Secret Service to track down the counterfeiting ring, but thus far they haven't had much luck.

While enjoying a summer day boating on Barmet Bay, Frank and Joe end up saving Mary Todd from downing. She was on her way to see their father, Fenton Hardy about the mysterious disappearance of her brother. While Fenton Hardy went to search for him, Frank and Joe discovered a few small details about the missing professor. Fenton Hardy returned after his unsuccessful search as the boys were heading to a camping trip with Chet and Biff to Honeycomb Caves.

While riding in their homemade iceboat on the frozen surface of Barmet Bay, Frank and Joe Hardy and Chet Morton discuss their plans for the upcoming Christmas holiday break. They visit Cabin Island but a mysterious stranger chases them off the island. The boys are invited to the home of Elroy Jefferson, a man whose car they returned in The Shore Road Mystery. They overhear an argument between Jefferson, the owner of Cabin Island, and Hanleigh, who is trying to buy the island. Mr. Jefferson rewards the boys and grants them permission to use the cabin for Christmas

This is the original 1927 story of The Tower Treasure: The Hardy Boys Book 1. Frank and Joe Hardy, brothers who are high school students, use their investigation skills to solve the mystery of the stolen treasure from the eccentric Applegates. After finally finding out who did it, the dying criminal confesses that the loot had been hidden “in the old tower.” The tower is searched in vain, but it remained for the Hardy boys to make an astonishing discovery that cleared up the mystery.

At their home in Bayport Frank, Joe, and Fenton, receive a visitor who informs them that Professor Morgan Todd from Kenworthy College has disappeared. At the time Fenton is working on security for a coastal radar station, which is under construction. The boys visit the college and are informed that the professor is away in Europe. However, the boys become suspicious, and their investigations lead them to Honeycomb Caves in Rockaway, where they uncover a plot to disrupt the operation of the radar station.

Something is not right in Bayport. After a series of unfortunate (yet harmless) pranks, it looks like Frank and Joe have caught their suspect surprisingly early. Their classmate, Seth Diller, has taken his love of filmmaking a bit too far. But shortly after Frank and Joe confront Seth, there are fresh outbreaks of Seth-like pranks. Except these aren't as harmless. After a bit of investigating, the Hardy Boys uncover evidence of the Red Arrow - a group that will stop at nothing to bring chaos and crime to Bayport's peaceful existence.

Frank and Joe Hardy have been invited to take part in a conservation mission by a marine biologist at the Bayport Aquarium. The boys get to go on an all-expenses-paid trip to the lush and beautiful Florida Keys to help save sharks! But the trip’s purpose is suddenly sidelined when a paddle boarder goes missing, and rumors start that the disappearance is the result of a shark attack. After spending so much time learning about the local shark population, the Hardy Boys aren’t buying the story.

Frank and Joe are back on Black Bear Mountain, the scene of a previous wilderness adventure and mind-bending mystery. This time, the brothers are checking in on Dr. K, a friend they made during their first trip. Dr. K is a fan of living off the grid, but he’s been MIA long enough to cause worry in the small mountain town. And so the teenage detectives Black Bear Mountain relied on before have been called in to help once again.

The Missing Chums is the fourth book in the original Hardy Boys series. It does not take much to convince Frank and Joe to be extras in the new zombie movie that's filming in Bayport. Not only do they get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the magic that goes into making horror movies, but they also get to wear freakishly realistic zombie makeup that makes them look like the walking dead! But the horror gets a little too real when disaster hits the scene.

While their father, Fenton Hardy, is in Montana working on a case of stolen gold, the Hardy Boys and their friends meet Jadbury Wilson, a former gold prospector. Wilson relates his tale of how Bart Dawson, a trusted member of his party, disappeared with four bags of hard-won gold during a gunfight. Frank and Joe are thrilled to receive a telegram from their father, requesting that they join him in Montana immediately to assist on the gold case. But to their surprise, Fenton Hardy is working for Bart Dawson, the same man whom Jadbury Wilson has accused of having stolen his gold.
