Paris and Berlin, 1919-1920: In the wake of the Great War, the city of Paris unites in jubilant celebration at the arrival of United States President Woodrow Wilson. But amid the prospect of peace, Parisians are dying as the Spanish influenza reaches epidemic proportions. Dr. Major Jamie Fraser is called in to advise the president's own doctor on how best to avoid the deadly disease and discovers, despite Wilson's robust appearance, the man is frailer than most realize.

Three monologues in verse, performed by the author. In Group Theory, a week's worth of misdelivered mail leads an apartment dweller on a journey through the refracted symmetries of self. In Parsimony, a man returns home after a car crash, drugged up and teetering on crutches, to find that a strange new neighbor has moved into the back room behind his kitchen. In Teratology, the distant arching dome of a train station looms over four stranded travelers, four strangers trapped together for a long night.

Mooncalfs is a novel about a generation screaming through a dog whistle. It chronicles a day in the life of a young man suffering from the paralysis of mental illness, unemployment, and the aftermath of broken promises after college. In search of an escape hatch from the prospects of an unfulfilling future, his frustrations take him to his feet. The road ahead holds the American Dream. Yet it also includes its container, which, for the purposes of satisfaction, if not sanity, may best be left closed.

David O. Strickland's darkly comic novel is set during Egress Recap - the return of American POWs from Vietnam's "Hanoi Hilton" in 1973. Like Kurt Vonnegut's classic Slaughterhouse-Five, The First Man off the Plane features POWs bombed by their own planes.

The cost of sexual indiscretion is highly disproportionate to whatever momentary gain or pleasure you may derive from it. Moral and spiritual drains caused by sexual indiscretion are often gradual, and the decline is often unnoticed, until it is too late to stop the drift. God commands sexual purity, and enlightened self-interest demands it. The longer you are sexually indiscrete, the more entwined in it you become, and the more difficult it becomes for you to get out.
