The Shadow Foxes' latest bounty mission from the Mage’s Academy is to find mysterious objects of power from the past. Normally, this would be no problem for Gabriel, the most powerful mage in the world, and his famous guild of lovable misfits, but there are sinister forces racing against them with the same goal. These objects are dangerous under any circumstances, but if any of the magical objects fall into the wrong hands, the results would be cataclysmic. And the wrong hands always seem to be one step ahead.

Having uncovered a conspiracy within the Mage’s Guild to use the all-powerful Shodra magic items to conquer the world, Gabriel and the Shadow Foxes have no choice but to break into the Mage’s Tower and get them away from the forces of darkness. Easier said than done, especially when one of Gabriel's lovers is pregnant with his child, but nothing is impossible for Gabe as he continues to master his arcane abilities and become the God of Magic.

The arsenal of guns that I can summon has grown along with the number of my allies, and we have managed to outrun the pursuing mages for the time being. Unfortunately, to get away from them we had to go places they won’t: mutant infested wilderness, forgotten towns filled with strange religious cults, and even more dangerous locales. So we still have plenty of problems, but as I’m learning, there aren’t many problems that can survive a bullet to the head.

When the thief guilds all join forces to steal the treasure of the city, Gabriel and the Shadow Foxes face their toughest challenge yet. But throw in a powerful gorgon, the prying mage academy, and a berserker vigilante hafling, and...well...let’s just say that Gabriel’s unique brand of controlling magic is going to be the only thing that can save the day. If he can just survive the day.

The DEPP has transported Dave and his lovely women to another even more alien and dangerous version of Earth than the last. They have to begin fortifying their trans-dimensional territory if they have any hope of surviving these hostile environments. Cambrian Era monstrosities and massive tidal surges caused by an angry moon goddess are pretty nasty challenges for anybody to survive, but a flesh eating blob that wants to devour all life on Earth? That’s just not fair.

The Great West stretched on endlessly, and it was filled with pioneer mining towns, magic, and opportunity. But it was also filled with brigands, monsters, and the unknown. Fortunately, I was around to protect people. For a price, that is.

After my parents were murdered, I thought the most difficult things in my near future were to find their killer and take over my father’s gang. Well, I found the killer, but then the FBI had to get in the way. While running from the feds, I ended up falling through this portal and into another world with crazy creatures, monster-people, and magic. But there are things I’m familiar with. Like corruption. Like organized crime. Like beautiful women. And I think I could do pretty well for myself in this new world.
