When Tracy is invited to provide her services at a swanky hotel in town, she feels honored and excited at the opportunity. Despite her aunt's reservations about the hotel's owners, Tracy forges ahead with plans to make her new clients very happy. She's left shocked and humiliated when one of the hotel's owners goes behind her back to implement the ideas she suggested. She feels helpless and hopeless as the power couple seem too big for her to fight.

When a big tech firm announces their intention to award one lucky business in Sandy Bay a very generous grant, almost every business owner declares their interest. Meghan Irvin, a local bakery owner, dreams about what she would do with that amount of money...maybe opening a new shop in some exotic foreign location. Or a luxurious holiday for her and her newlywed husband. Everyone is stunned when a key personnel from the tech firm is found dead. Meghan got to know the deceased a bit, and she's confused and traumatized by the events surrounding their death.

It's the start of a new year and Meghan is hoping for change in her personal and emotional life. She never bargained that change would come in the form of an unexpected visitor to her marital home and the mysterious murder of a popular figure in the small town of Sandy Bay. Meghan is left worried and confused as heated opinions of the events leading to the murder seem to distract everyone from the actual homicide itself. Was the murder coincidental or a coordinated, sinister undertaking? Will Meghan learn to live with her unexpected guest or allow her relationship to hit the rocks?

Sandy Bay's favorite baker has just gotten married and is adjusting to living as Mrs. Irvin. Things aren't easier on the work front, as there are several new businesses in town that Meghan believes are trying to steal her clientele. When she finds that a new neighbor who owns a rival establishment has been murdered, she's torn between minding her own business and reaching out to the deceased's widow. As she delves deeper into this person's murder and business, she discovers there are many people who would gain from his demise. But who had the biggest reason to see him dead?

When Meghan receives an order to bake a cake for a wealthy individual in town, she’s happy to wow them with her culinary skills. However, she’s not happy with this person’s condescending and unpleasant behavior. But she’s ready to put up with it, as she believes it’ll lead to more business. She’s in for a rude surprise when this new customer is found dead…and her treats are identified as the cause of their demise. Meghan knows no amount of crying will change the verdict against her in the court of public opinion. She knows she only has one option. And that is to fight!

When the opportunity to partner with a local business presents itself, Tracy is happy to grab it with both hands. She never bargained that the owner of the business would be her nemesis from high school. She’s shocked to find that her nemesis still has the same condescending behavior and great looks!

When Meghan is invited to cater for the wedding of one of the oldest citizens of Sandy Bay, she’s happy for the bride-to-be and the opportunity to introduce the guests to her latest creation - orange mousse! Still, she longs for the day when she can wear a white dress and walk down the aisle to marry her Prince Charming. On the day of the wedding, everything seems perfect. The venue is glorious. The weather is beautiful. The couple are radiating love. Until...a strange woman stops the ceremony and claims to be the wife of the groom.
