I thought this was a great start to a cultivation and world building story. The MC isnt overpowered by any means and has to learn about the powers hes been granted. He must cultivate to strengthen his powers and nothing is just given to him.

This narration duo is one of the best in the industry. Every book they have done together has flowed seamlessly.

Id definitely recommend giving this book a listen!

I thought this book was a great start to an interesting series. no stupid clifhanger but we know where the next in series will start. I am hoping for a little more explanation on some of this worlds power concepts .
overall I thought it was very entertaining. the narrators were both very good and I figured I had nothing to loose.

I was looking for something new and stumbled across this. I quite like this narration team. I think they did a pretty good job all around. As for the story itself I think the author has got a pretty good opener here for a new series. I went ahead and checked him out on Amazon and saw that he's got four books up as of the time of this review and that the first two are also in audiobook form so check it out I recommend it. on to the next one.

This book took off running. Action right from the start. Love the MC and the mystery that comes along with this book. I have so many questions we need answered I can’t wait for the next book.

The cover for this one caught my eye initially, and the author gave me a code to try it out.

That being said, I’m glad he did.

The story follows an experienced hunter, who is a pretty normal dude who is out scouting for the upcoming season and stumbles across a unique woman who needs his help.

He ends up crossing through to a new world filled with monster girls and “spirit” which is like magical energy that fills the world.

Once he’s there he learns how to cultivate that spirit, and figured out that he can increase his skills by doing so.

He learns that the “monsters” of the world are under attack, and they need his help to rescue them.

I really enjoyed the interactions throughout the story, but I really wish the second was out since there are quite a few questions that were raised in this first book.

The narration is very well done, and really helps the story to come to life. Can’t wait for the second.
