I had the chance to listen to the audiobook!
Desiree Ketchum, Andi Eloise, Corvin King, Bryant Walker and James Cassidy did such a great job at narration! The emotion and development they put into their characters was great! This is book two in the death in bloom series. Between the romance and suspense I was hooked! All the crazy plot twists and turns had me on a roller coaster of emotions!! Definitely check your trigger warnings before reading! It was overall I great read and I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next!

Possible Spoilers: This book was really great. I have to admit that I was disappointed to learn what an ahole Kenzo is. He seemed so nice in book 1. However, as the book progressed, I saw a little bit of a softer, kinder side to him. Trix is smart! She planned a revenge scheme that I did not see coming and I cheered her on as it played out. HEA is always a great way to finish a story, but I wasn't sure this would be one of them. Narrators were awesome as always.

I'm so very grateful to get an ALC of Compel audiobook! I loved this book when I read it and I absolutely loved it even more when I got to listen. My husband couldn't get my attention at all that day, he had to wait till I was done with Kenzo and Trix! This should be a one click buy for:

I LOVE THIS!! "Compel" has one of the best storylines I've come across in a long time and as much as I loved the 1st book in this series "Coerce", this one edges out a little bit more because it will live rent free in my mind for a while. The twist at the end when Kenzo puts things together made me think of the movie " The Usual Suspects" with Kevin Spacey - you know that scene at the end when the detective realizes the "crippled" suspect who spun him a tale using names and places from clippings on a board in the detective's office and when the detective realizes this, it was too late, he had already let the suspect he didn't know that was really the to dog running things go...only to disappear again...lol like "Trix" did - well, for a while, this is a romance with a HEA afterall! Hell, even her name should have been a sign of things to come. Bravo to the voice characters and long live duet-style 👏🏾👏🏾

Compel by Candice Wright is book 2 in the Death In Bloom series. Compel is a dark, mafia romance that features an abused FMC and a hero MMC that loves to stalk. As always please check your triggers and content warnings BFORE reading. This book is also a standalone in the series. I absolutely devoured this book and with each page turn I was on the edge of my seat. If you love the toxic side of your men then this is the book for you. I love anything Candice writes and this story was no different. I'm excited to see what she has planned next.
