I like the story. The narrower was pretty good. the writing could be better. It was a little abrupt in transition. Overall I enjoyed it and will listen to the next book.

So I really wanted to like this. I really like the author, and his shift from more FTB to smut has been interesting to see. If his Princesses of the Iron bound was more Cebelius, this was more dialing it to 11 and going Tamryn Tamer. It's a lot of interpersonal stuff with husband and wife, so I get it there's gonna be more smut, especially as they explore what it is to open things and experiment.

But I just was never quite feeling it? I'm not entirely sure. It could be I just didn't care for the male voice in the duet style being a majority? Perhaps I just subconsciously wasn't vibing with that.

I do know there is a lot of dirty talk, and while I like some it felt at point "Oh do this dirty thing!" then "OMG I'm doing this DIRTY THING!" rinse repeat. I felt it became this almost breaking the 4th wall like instead of performing for each other they were like Deadpool winking do the audience almost with the tone, and it just took me out.

Maybe I'll try the next on Kindle and see if that helps and I'll know for sure. I more the MC did nothing for me either which doesn't help.

I gave it all 4 stars cause it's solid if not perfect, so I'm trying to put my biases aside. Hopefully I have a niche opinion and everyone else can enjoy.
