I wasn’t supposed to feel this way about him... the man dating my sister. But no matter how much I try to focus on other women, my mind keeps circling back to him. It started as unease, an itch I couldn’t scratch, a feeling that there was something off about him. Then it grew... an obsession I couldn’t control.

Secrets aren’t meant to come into the light, and monsters should stay under the bed. I thought I was smart enough to keep my distance, but with him, logic vanishes. There’s no sense—only madness.

The deeper I dig, the darker it gets. He’s not just a man with secrets...he’s something much worse. And I’ve made one fatal mistake...stepping into his world.

Now, it’s not just about uncovering the truth. It’s about surviving it.

I truly don’t know what kind of twisted abyss Luna K. Wicked pulls her stories from—but whatever it is, I hope she never crawls out of it.

Let me say this with absolute seriousness: this is not a dark romance. Not even a pitch-black one. There is no romance in this book. What you’re stepping into is pure, consuming Erotic Horror, crafted with a precision that feels almost dangerous.

Ren is the kind of monster who hides in plain sight—an obscenely wealthy, pristine lawyer whose charm barely disguises the rot underneath. He takes on the occasional pro bono case, but when he meets Byron, something unholy roots itself inside him. And when Byron goes to prison, Ren’s fixation slithers toward Byron’s sister, Gabriela, long before her brother’s release. His obsessions don’t temper his bloodlust; if anything, they sharpen it. The “mementos” he keeps from his victims aren’t tokens—they’re pieces of a morbid masterpiece, fragments that feed the art only he understands.

This story doesn’t unfold—it coils. Every chapter is another tightening twist, another step deeper into Ren’s meticulously crafted madness. And the audiobook performances amplify that descent in the most chilling way. Joe Arden embodies Ren so convincingly it’s unsettling—switching from hollow-eyed killer to tender, believable lover with a whiplash that makes your skin crawl. Corvin King is phenomenal, bringing a raw, haunting energy to his character. And Mia Moreno, in my first experience listening to her, delivers a performance that lingers long after the chapter ends.

This audiobook is dark, addictive, and deeply disturbing—in all the ways a true Erotic Horror should be.

Listen responsibly. Check every one of your triggers. And if you choose to step into Ren’s world, don’t pretend you weren’t warned

This book had me on the edge!! Joe Arden has the capability to bring EVERY character he voices to life, and he did NOT disappoint in this one!! Ren was so sick and twisted, and broken, and Joe brought all of that out! Corvin brought so much to Byron, I felt his shame, his pain, his love for Gabbi, his fear. This audiobook was fantastic! And the ending!? Cannot wait to start Volume II!!

It's a wild ride of learning to be your true self. Being chased by darkness and learning to survive it. Recommend not for the squeamish. I enjoyed the book part had be clenching hoping he MC got away. At the end he should have made sure that it was over. Definitely a Horror Errotica.
