I’m going to start off by saying that if you liked the L.O.R.D.S series you should give this one a chance!

This is my very first time listening to an audiobook with a full cast and it was phenomenal. The narrator’s capture each emotion and character extremely well. I would dare say, so well that I’ll never see audiobooks the same way again 😆. I am now a complete fan of full cast audio books .

Now on to the story! I got hooked from the very first page.
The prologue starts off with Sirena at a very young age. Her best friend tries to unalive her and it changes the trajectory of her entire life. She becomes mute, to cope,and becomes extremely distrustful of men. Then we fast forward to current day, she’s 17 years old . Her step father is extremely religious and he decides that she is so far from help that she needs to seek the Lord. They up end her to chapel crest ( her mother did absolutely nothing to stop him!!!).

Then we enter chapel crest and she meets the 4 men that will impact her life in ways she never imagined. They all start off wanting to be emotionally distant from her, but that quickly changes. You’ll have to pick up the book to find out how and why that changes . Enjoy the ride 😆.

This is a dark academia bully romance, so I would
check the trigger warnings before reading. I definitely plan to continue the series

I was not in any way prepared for this book. I was not ready for the slowest burn and that ending! I will not be able to recover. Church has me messed up. lol. I really hope the next book picks up where this leaves off… that can’t be the end.

Great marketing strategy. After I listened to this I couldn’t stand being left wondering so I bought the rest of the series on paperback. I will most definitely be listening to them also if they ever get released on audio.

Very engaging story. Not a moment of boredom. Appreciate each prominent character has its own voice actor. Flow of story, pacing of voices was all done perfectly

This audiobook did not disappoint me I am so happy that KG decided to release the boys of chapel crest series as audiobooks although I have read the series many many times before each release of a new book. The emotions are felt so strongly when you hear them you just get so overwhelmed by it all.
