I love this book but the whole audio cast made this book so much better. Joe Arden as church was amazing, made him seem more crazy.

This was first book by K.G. Reuss. It will not be my last! I will be binging this entire series now. I love a dark romance with unhinged men!

The Narrators were so amazing. I don’t think to most those narrators before but Stella Ripley, Joe Arden, Edward Black,
J. Tipstone, Michael Gallagher, and Sean Masters were amazing!! I have listened to a few Joe Arden audio books lately and he is amazing and his voice is made to play the psycho that you love in a dark romance.

Sirena was hurt by her close child hood friend when she was younger. Do this she now doesn’t speak or communicate with anyone. Sirena step dad decides she needs to be sent to Chapel Crest.

Upon arriving at the new school Sirena gets on the radar of the
boys of Chapel Crest. They kind of were your worse nightmare. But church and his boys become obsessed with Sirena and she owes them. While dealing with the all she also learns that her friend that hurt her is attending this school also.

If you are audio book lover in highly recommended the audio for this book. I couldn’t put the audio down once I started. I finished in less than 24 hours. This book does end of cliffy but the other audio books are available now. ( bells and ashes) but 6 of the 7 books are available on KU now. The last book in the series Asylum comes out October 24, 2026.

I had been seeing clips of this audio teased all over my feed so I preordered it and listened to it immediately upon release. I binged it in one sitting and now I’m so bummed the audio for the rest of the series isn’t available yet. 😭

It’s a full cast audio narration which is my absolute favorite. This is a dark academia why-choose romance that follows Sirena, who is sent to a religious boarding school to help “cleanse her of her demons”, after she goes selectively mute from suffering trauma as a small child. At Chapel Crest, she becomes the fixation for The Watchers, the boys that rule the school. This book is mildly spicy and has a fun plot. It does cover some very dark topics and has quite the list of trigger warnings, but I found it easy to get sucked into and it kept my attention throughout. I cannot wait for the rest of the series to release on audio! 😍
