The female narrator I felt was trying too hard. But overall the story line was really good. Going to listen to the 2nd book for sure.

The female reader try’s way too hard. She try’s to put emotion into her voice but it just makes it worse. Overall not a bad story

I loved it! I was sucked right into the story and finished it quickly. Immediately starting book 2. The voices really brought it to life.

I have came across this book and audio several times over the last year and just skipped it. Honestly I seldom listen to military or read military books. As a female veteran with 2 deployments, most of the books are so far off its hard to read. I was in a reading slump and this keeps popping up so I figured I would give it a try. First I read the book, then I bought the audio. DO NOT skip this one. It definitely pulls at the heart, it's dark, it's honest, and damn Danny is HOTT and oh so sexy and broken, the sex is dark but works for them. There is definitely a cliffhanger but I was already prepared for it.
