Damon Al-Kendras knows how to handle his sword. After years of performing as a gladiator across the cities of Veridan’s Curve, he’s returning home under dangerous circumstances, to the farm on which he and his fellow orphans were raised.

Velanor, the precocious blonde socialite. Ria, exotic and sexy, a natural born tempest mage. Both are now grown women, and so much has changed since their intimate childhood under one roof. But Malon, their guardian and protector, is still as beautiful and mysterious as ever.

With conflict on the horizon, it’s up to Damon to protect them, to love them, and to figure out just where the boundaries are. Ten years is a long time to be away from a home filled with buxom, confident women.

This book contains forbidden, consensual sexual encounters between the main character and the closest women in his life.

This is yet another book that scratched an itch I didn’t know I had!

Damon Al-Kendras is an accomplished swordsman. Better than most people he encounters. He’s a little weak-willed in the beginning, until he is forced to do the unthinkable, an act that slowly begins to change who he is and what he’s willing to do to protect those he loves.

The book is well-written and well-narrated. Lana Lee does a great job of distinguishing characters. The sex is plentiful, descriptive, and deliciously frustrating at times. You’ll see what I mean when you listen to it.

Highly recommend. So much so that I just bought the available sequels outright, something I never do.

Holy Schneikies!!

I’m a fan of harem and erotica but good gods this book had me hot blooded so often I thought i was going to pass out .
Zero buyers remorse this title has earned a rent free place in my library right next to the herald of shalia by tamryn tamer and every Logan Jacobs and Eric vall title .

Very unexpected

We all know why you’re reading this review and checking out this book so I’ll start with what you want dear reader;

The smut:
Fantastic and unique. Several situations present themselves in uncommon ways with varied and engaging outcomes/consequences. Believe it or not the author handles the subject matter in the most thoughtful way I’ve ever seen in this genre so far. Most of the time you get the average “sees hot woman, they fall in love, they go at it within three days or less” or “x relation sees how much they’ve grown and immediately shows interest/ bedtime frolic within a few weeks. Some of the build up happens over weeks of in world time explained with small very reasonable time skips. It’s just such a great build up especially in how it varies from woman to woman. Add on a healthy amount of introspection before, during, and after and you’ve got a recipe for engaging and more realistic “engagements” with the topic at hand.

The performance:
Not a single complaint. Lana did absolutely excellent at tone shift and voice differentiation between narration, the main cast, and the interesting NPC’s so to speak. Characters did have their own timber and accent and to the experienced listener, it was more than good enough to tell who was speaking and when even before the acknowledgment of the text.

Story:
Absolutely a page Turner or minutiae listener as it may go for audio listeners like myself. I gotta say they kept adventure, mystery, twists and a mountain of well executed tension throughout the story. No spoilers here but I’ll say there were a few moments in the last chapter that did something few books EVER have; made me drop my jaw figuratively and once literally with the sudden twists. Astounding how hard it is to find a book and story that can pull it off so well.

Final:
It has the rating I gave it for a reason. I’ll be getting the sequels soon enough when I can and can only hope they maintain their quality. Worth the extra price or audible credit to attain the audio.

Honestly pretty dang good

While the story is a bit muddy as to what direction it wants to go; the characters are actually pretty well developed. This book seems to have set the stage for the world and plot so I guess I have to read more.

If you couldn't tell by the cover art, this is some pretty smutty stuff.

Some good ear candy
