We sin as devils do. We love as angels do…

Theo

Wrenly Morgan.

Her name tasted like forbidden fruit on my tongue.

I didn’t know where she came from, and I didn’t care.

All that mattered was getting closer to her by any means necessary.

I watched her movements from the cage. She was a vision in a tight black dress that accentuated her curves. Raven hair spilled over her shoulders as she moved toward her seat in the front row.

When I saw her, I couldn’t look away or resist her magnetic pull.

I was ensnared, a fly caught in her web.

Everything else faded away until she was the only thing that existed. The only thing I could think of was my need to break her, to shatter her into tiny pieces and then put her back together, so the only thing she breathed was me. The closer I got, the harder it was to pull away. She would learn she belonged to me now, that her fate was bound to mine by chains of obsession she would never break.

Wrenly

Theo West.

No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t get him out of my head.

I knew I shouldn’t want him, but I couldn’t stay away.

He was bad news—an enigma of darkness and desire.

I knew I should stay far away from him. Every instinct screamed that he was dangerous, that to let him in would be to court chaos and ruin.

Even as my mind rebelled, my body yearned to draw closer, to bask in the heat of his nearness.

He was a predator—sleek, powerful, and deadly, and I was playing with fire.

But I needed to escape my gilded cage and disappear into the shadows with him.

The game between us was a dangerous dance on the edge of a knife. One misstep, one moment of weakness, and everything could come crashing down.

But neither of us could stop, caught in the intoxicating thrall of forbidden temptation.

I ran to the devil.

And he waited with open arms.

I bind myself to you.

My body.

My mind.

My soul.

I am yours, and you are mine.

If death comes for me, I shall wait for you.

We shall not part in this life or the next.

E.L. Emkey blows me away with another amazing novel, a “Dark Legacy Romance” set in her “Brotherhood” series, an enthralling romantic suspense you can not tear yourself away from because you need to know what happens next. Theo was born into the Brotherhood world, a dark and twisted world run by a powerful secret society, and is good friends with two of his brothers, the sidekicks, Archer and Kai, who we met in the first two not-to-be-missed books. Theo, the devil, a fighter in and out of the ring, in the ring he is a champion, outside the ring he fights his inner demons, and those demons were winning until he met her, his little bird, Wrenly Morgan. Wren has her own past demons, but she is a survivor and is fierce, not even standing down to her evil ex. Theo’s protective mode kicks in, and as much as he wants her, he pushes her away because he does not want to drag her into his dark world. There is an undeniable chemistry between them, and he could only deny himself for so long. I thought these two were great together and for each other, and Theo certainly met his match in Wren. Emkey puts these two through the wringer, and the plotting and complex web she weaves around them is brilliant, as is watching it all unfold and then come full circle. There is never a dull moment in this book, a multilayered story with plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, gut-wrenching moments, heartfelt emotions and romance that captures your heart. E.L. Emkey, thank you for another amazing story and the wild, heart-pounding, take you to the edge of your seat, ride, an emotional rollercoaster ride like no other.

🎧📚🎧Mollie Stark and Joe Arden were the perfect cast to bring these characters to life, with voices that were fitting for a perfect portrayal of each. Arden is a natural as Theo, killing it in the devil’s role, dark, twisted and perfectly diabolical, also bringing out his caring and protective side. Stark was just as amazing as Wrenly, embodying her personality completely, showcasing her fierceness, strength and determination perfectly. They were fantastic at performing the roles of the secondary/side characters too. Their tone and pacing were ideal for the story, and they were expressive in conveying all the characters’ emotions, making you feel them all. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers, and their gripping performance keeps you glued to the story.

The Devil’s Wrath by E.L. Emkey is a dark legacy romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Mollie Stark and Joe Arden. This is the third book in The Brotherhood series.

I really enjoyed the relationship between Theo and Wrenly. I loved getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Mollie and Joe did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life and make you feel everything the characters are feeling. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this series if you're looking for a dark romance or romantic suspense.

What a great book! It had a little of everything. College romance with secret society vibes, spice, dark themes and angst. I got this in audio and I loved it. It’s dual narration and I love a good dual style narration. The actors get to showcase a whole other side of their talent. Joe Arden never misses and this was my first time hearing Mollie Stark and she’s a powerhouse. Highly recommend!

So once again, we have just an amazing audiobook that has been done by blue nose audio I have loved any audiobook that I get from blue nose they always do such an amazing job. I remember seeing this book come out months ago and I was like man I really hope one day I can have a chance to sit down and read this book and so whenever I saw that it was coming to audio I knew I was ready to listen to it. And the author could not have picked two better narrators we have the amazing voice of Joe Arden once again he is one of my favorite MMC narrators and then we have Mollie stuck in this is actually the first book I’ve ever listened to that she was a narrator of even though I have multiple books that she is the female narrator, and I just haven’t listened to yet. I thought they brought the voices of Theo and Wrenly two instead of being just a work affections to being actual people it’s just how much of an amazing job that they did. This look at some of my favorite tropes we have a twisted romance, We have a who did this, to burn the world down, this is a revenge story. It’s just one of those that you have to sit down buckle in for the ride and then have a great time because it is such a great story. This is the third book in the series so if

I’ve been anxiously awaiting the audio for this book to release and it was so worth the wait!
Fate knew Theo and Wrenly were meant to see together, despite their less than ideal pasts. Theo is the definition of “soft only for her” because he absolutely melts for Wrenly, but have no doubts he will do anything to protect her.

This is first listen for me from Mollie Stark, but she was incredible and I cannot wait to dig into her work further. While certainly no where near a first listen of Joe Arden, I was still just as impressed as I always am with his performances.
