A tender addition to the #1 New York Times bestselling Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas, bridging the events of A Court of Wings and Ruin and upcoming audiobooks.

Feyre, Rhysand, and their friends are still busy rebuilding the Night Court and the vastly altered world beyond, recovering from the war that changed everything. But Winter Solstice is finally approaching, and with it, the joy of a hard-earned reprieve. Yet even the festive atmosphere can't keep the shadows of the past from looming. As Feyre navigates her first Winter Solstice as High Lady, her concern for those dearest to her deepens. They have more wounds than she anticipated-scars that will have a far-reaching impact on the future of their court.

A Court of Frost and Starlight explores the far-reaching effects of a devastating war and the fierce love between friends.

Performed by Melody Muze, Anthony Palmini, Colleen Delany, Jon Vertullo, Amanda Forstrom, Shawn K. Jain, Nora Achrati, Karenna Foley, Gabriel Michael, Natalie Van Sistine, Eva Wilhelm, Henry W. Kramer, Bianca Bryan, Renee Dorian, Matthew Bassett, Rob McFadyen, Ryan Carlo Dalusung, Yasmin Tuazon, Matthew Schleigh, Nanette Savard, Dan Delgado, Michael John Casey, Alejandro Ruiz, and Samantha Cooper.

Usually I like the Dramatic Adaptations, however the sound mixing in this one was distracting. It became hard to hear the narration at times, and I wasn’t able to finish even the second chapter before it became too overwhelming and I had to stop listening. I would advise anyone with sensory issues to avoid this version but instead get the regular audiobook instead so be able to hear the story being told.

Great story, but overshadowed by the background music

As always, the book is fantastic with the added audio. However, I hope that for the next book, they stick with the voices for Cassian and Nesta during the 3rd person POV. Even though it is 3rd person, it's better than having some random generic person do it.

Hopefully They Change for the Next Book

Ok, I know this book gets a lot of hate cause it like the Christmas Special in the series but I enjoyed it!

I liked that this was a good palate cleanser before jumping into the tome that is #acosf.
It was nice to see the inner circle kind of do something normal like celebrating the winter solstice and buying each other gifts while also trying to figure out a world post war with Hyburn!

Definitely the lighthearted and loving repreave we all needed down this journey of ACOTAR. Very much like a “Christmas special” episode filled with amazing and sweet moments and different POV.

Feel good filler story
