Powerless is an action packed, edge-of-your-seat thrill. Definitely a must read for fans of Sara J Maas, Rebecca Yarros and Carissa Broadbent. The stakes are high and the tension between the MC couple is deliciously palpable! I liked the smooth transition between past and present events and the cohesion between plot line as well as character and world building made this first instalment of the trilogy a great first impression! I ABSOLUTELY cannot wait to read the next one this summer!!!

I am distraught, relieved and angry all at the same time. Reckless cannot come soon enough. Not spicy but it does not need it! I thought the voice actors were also great!

I care so much about the main characters

Many sentences were either not read in their entirety or parts were skipped over. (I was reading along with the audio). Unless they were reading a different version then the copy I own. I don’t know, just seemed off to me. But I LOVED this book.
