Affinity is a profoundly moving tale of love, friendship, and the intricate dance of life's unexpected turns. Follow the heartfelt journey of Lory and Samantha, two women whose lives were forever intertwined during their vibrant college days. Bound by an unbreakable connection, they navigate the challenges of adulthood, building loving families and thriving careers. Years later, fate brings them together once more at a homecoming event, reigniting old feelings and confronting unresolved tensions that have lingered beneath the surface.

As Lory excels in the competitive world of marketing and Samantha blossoms into an acclaimed artist, they grapple with the complexities of commitment, personal growth, and the enduring power of their bond. Through spontaneous reunions, heartfelt conversations, and collaborative ventures, Lory and Samantha rediscover what drew them together initially, embracing their love fully and authentically. Their story is a testament to resilience, the beauty of evolving relationships, and the timeless nature of true love that transcends all boundaries.

The book would have been sooo much better if someone, ANYONE, even ChatGPT or AI could have just copy edited the manuscript before publishing it. There are repeated paragraphs throughout the book that the AI voice re-reads over and over again (its excessive). The author mixes up timelines and locations of where the characters spend their summers/time apart Lory is in New York then its LA, Sam is in Paris then NY then Paris again and then back and forth like the writer forgot which city she wrote about first. A lot of repetitive language and sensory imagery and not enough character depth. There is no real personality trait or background to either main character other than their school and career interests and attraction for each other but wow do they smell lile lavendar and jasmyne and the air is "cracking with possibility" five times every two pages. Author if you are reading this, edit the book, make it all deeper in emotions and conflict that stems from real problems. Clean up the repeated/unedited sections. The story is the only thing cracking with potential. The book is simply unfinished. Writing is a challenge and publishing this was is brave. To the reader, don't spend the money, not worth a free credit for rough draft content.
