This could have been a great series if the author would have done some research on the capabilities of the United States, Navy and Marine Corps.

I enjoyed this first book a lot. Making this review after enjoying the 2nd and third book. As a start to a series this book is pretty great, it's also a good read on its own even if you don't continue the series. This book is though maybe the best of 3 I've read so far. While I personally really loved book 3, I think this one had the best gut wrenching heart beat skipping moments. A solid read.
