I went into this blind, but knowing anything Ali Hazelwood is perfection and I was not disappointed!

Wow. Another story I was totally hooked into from the start from none other than Ali Hazelwood! This has Bride & Mate vibes. A proper MMC and a FMC so his opposite but brilliant. 5 stars all around. Hopefully will be available in print to add to my library of Ali books.

This story was fantastic (as is usual for an Ali Hazelwood story). However, I wish it had been available in print. I enjoyed the female narration but not the male narration and would have preferred to read it rather than listen.

i had never read an ali hazelwood book before this cause i thought white ppl romance written by white women could only be mediocre especially if that white woman wrote so many books even within a year. ya i was wrong and i would like to apologize for not putting respect on miss hazelwood’s craft before now. this woman knows ball and has saved yt ppl from mediocracy well she alone invited to the cookout. and yt ppl should thank her. this book had me hooked from ch. 1/2 i haven’t read something so gripping in so long. the slow burn was just right and this was subtle and effect yearning. the plot twist were satisfying. as a well read writer myself sometimes predictable becomes boring but these felt right even if i guess they were coming.
