Dark Designs had a nice twisty plot. I guessed portions of it but was still surprised by the end. I also loved the focus on redemption and God's forgiveness.

Good book for young adults, perhaps even middle school. I like that it was Christian.

I pre-ordered this one forgetting that I do not like the narrator. I tried to go ahead and listen, but the narrator read in a weirdly boring way and the voice she used for the main female character annoyed me. I’m not sure if the pace of the beginning felt so slow due to the writing or the narrator. But, it was incredibly difficult to engage with the storyline and characters. I will try to return this title.
