Great way to start a series. Not to get spoilery, but I really like the demon aspect and mystery surrounding the main character. Can’t wait to continue the story.

the first book of the series wasn't terrible but not great. I think it could have used a little more world building and a better understanding of the demon types. the MC is your typical awe shucks ki da guy who has stuff come way to easy to him. o etall the book was good enough to continue to the next one.

I really enjoyed this book. And I had a nice plot something a little bit different and I especially enjoyed the fact that the plot centered around the Academy and the main characters didn’t leave the school by the first half of the book like so many other Academy books do.
